The 18th Pan-American Conference of Traffic and Transportation Engineering and Logistics in Santander (Spain), will be held from 11 to 13 June 2014, right after the 11th Transport Engineering Conference.
In the Conference webpage you can find information on the thematic areas, rules for submission of papers, registration fees and other important information. The official languages of the Conference will be English, Spanish and Portuguese.
We wish to emphasize the complementarity between both conferences (CIT and PANAM), not only regarding the subjects but also the scientific rigor. This is hugely appealing for attendants, since they are able to participate on both conferences and benefit from the strong growth in Latin America, which increases the possibilities for collaboration between both conferences.
In addition, the confidence placed by the FIT and the PANAMSTR in the Transport Systems Research Group (GIST) at the University of Cantabria (Spain) for organizing both conferences in Santander in the same year has made us to outreach efforts in order to achieve “low costs” prices for attending both conferences.
Both conferences are organized by the University of Cantabria, the Government of Cantabria and the Santander City Council.
